A 30-minute diagnostic finds what you already know, so you skip it instead of redoing it.

Interactive lessons, projects that produce real work, and Gilbert the AI tutor whenever you're stuck. A certified teacher reviews your major assessments within 48 hours.
Step 4
Request the credit
When you finish, you pay the $1,000 and the partner school registers the credit on your Ontario Student Record.
What you should know
- Credits are issued by Discovery Academy (BSID 884964), an Ontario private school inspected by the Ministry of Education.
- You are enrolled as a student of the partner school for the duration of the credit. The Ministry requires it.
- The 110-hour curriculum standard still applies. We compress the calendar, not the content.
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian signs off on enrolment.
Common questions
Is this a real OSSD credit?
Yes. The credit is issued by Discovery Academy, an Ontario private school inspected by the Ministry of Education (BSID 884964). It carries the same Ministry course code and the same weight on a university application as a credit from any other inspected school.
How long does it take?
Most students finish a course in 4 to 8 weeks. There is no semester schedule: you start the day you enrol and move at your own pace. The Ministry's 110-hour standard still applies, so the calendar is compressed, not the content.
What does it cost?
Learning is free. The credit is $1,000 per course, paid when you request it at the end. Three courses are $2,700. There are no application fees, textbook fees or exam fees.
Can I start in the middle of the year?
Yes. You can start any day of the year. Students use Units to get ahead, to replace a course they failed, to upgrade a mark, or to finish a prerequisite before a university deadline.
Who checks the work?
A certified Ontario teacher reviews your major assessments and signs off on the credit. Lessons are interactive and come with Gilbert, the AI tutor, so you are never stuck waiting for help.
